Catering is freshly prepared food made for a specific date and guest count, so it cannot be returned or exchanged once prepared and delivered. This policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling and refunds work for bookings with Sri Venkateswara Catering Service. The cancellation and refund terms in your written quotation apply to your booking.
How to Cancel or Reschedule

- Please confirm your request in writing (WhatsApp or email) so that both sides have a record.
- The earlier you tell us, the more options we have to reschedule your date or reduce the amount of any deduction.
Advance Payment
The advance you pay confirms your date and covers purchasing and planning for your event. Whether the advance is refundable, and how much, depends on how close to the event date the cancellation is made, and is stated in your quotation.
Rescheduling
If you change your event date, we will move your booking to the new date where we are available, without treating it as a cancellation. Please give us as much notice as possible.
Reducing Guest Count or Changing Menu
Changes to guest count or menu are handled as described in our Terms & Conditions. Once ingredients have been purchased or preparation has started, we may not be able to reduce the bill for that portion.
If We Have to Cancel
If we are unable to provide the service on your date for any reason within our control, we will tell you as early as possible and return your advance payment in full or help you find an alternative date, as you prefer.
Events Beyond Our Control
If your event or our service is disrupted by events beyond reasonable control, such as natural disasters, severe weather, government restrictions or transport disruption, we will agree a reschedule or a fair refund with you in writing.
Food Quality Concerns
Because food cannot be returned, please tell us about any quality concern on the day of the event so that we can resolve it immediately. We will review every complaint and, where the issue is on our side, agree a fair resolution with you.
Refund Timeline
When a refund is due, we will confirm the amount and the expected date in writing and refund by the same payment method where possible.
